Spider-Man Trolls Fans With New Trailer Leaks For No Way Home
The
Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer reveals many secrets about the Marvel Cinematic
Universe movie, but it eventually trolls fans with leaks.
The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has many notable
revelations about the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, but it also
trolls fans about the leaks. No Way Home continues to tease the story of
changing the universe for the MCU. The latest trailer shows Peter Sparker (Tom
Holland) entering the MCU after the last Spider-Man villains, after confusing
the memory vibe spell of Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). The footage shows
additional scenes of villains including Alfred Molina's Doc Oak, Thomas Hayden
Church's Sandman and Rice Ifans' Lizard. Jamie Foxx's electro gets a whole new
design. Then everything ends in a big battle, which gets MJ (Zentaya) in
trouble.
Leaks have been circulating for months that the last
Spider-Man cast will also appear in an upcoming film. Images circulating the
Internet show both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning to the roles of
Peter Parker, helping Holland's version of the character capture the attacking
villain. In addition to the obvious leaks, the trailers are constantly dropping
Easter eggs about the appearance of the characters. Tom Holland, for example,
matches Maguire's costume from the previous Spider-Man movie.
At this point, No Way Home is almost trolling fans about
Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield appearing in the MCU film. In the new trailer,
Tom Holland's Spider-Man confronts MCU's invading villains during construction
near the Statue of Liberty. The No Way Home leaks with Maguire and Garfield are
said to be fake, but the trailer has a similar visuals. Most obviously, the
scaffolding that appears in the leaks is also shown in the new scenes. In
addition, various scenes in the trailer seem to have been edited by other
Spider-Man actors. The lizard is attacked by an invisible force, which is
Garfield's Peter Parker, after Marvel destroys him from the scene.
At this point, Marvel is blatantly confused with fans. So
far, those behind the film have vehemently denied that past Spider-Man actors
have appeared in the film. Garfield himself covered the questions several times
in interviews. However, despite those denials, there are scenes in the trailer
confirming the leaks. Marvel has explicitly edited out the characters from
scenes where there are other Spider-Man actors. As a result, the trailer trolls
the fans, basically motivating them about the actors appearing before they are
ashamed to confirm it.
If Marvel really wanted to keep secret the possible
appearance of the actors in the film, the studio would not have included the
edited footage of Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield. With Spider-Man: No Way
Home clocking in at about three hours, there should be a lot of other footage
available. Instead, Marvel chose to clear the characters from the scenes,
apparently. The move makes fans think that when there is clear evidence that
the characters are not really in the scenes, they are not. Thus, the
Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer reveals that the film's biggest villain is
Marvel.
