Spider-Man:
No Way Home Poster Shows Unmasked Green Goblin Among Villains
The poster
for the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, released by Sony Pictures, Japan, gives
fans a better look at Willem Tafo's new, hot green goblin costume.

The new
poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home, William Duffo's Green Goblin, has given
fans another look at his return to life this time around without his original
metal mask. The actor first starred opposite Toby Maguire's Peter Parker in
2002 as Spider-Man's worst opponent. In the original film, Norman Osborne
derives his increased strength and dangerous madness from a false scientific
experiment. He then wore an elegant, green armor and purple glider to harass
and hunt the web slinger in New York. Despite dying at his hands in the climax
battle of the film, the villain returns for brief cameos in two sequels to
Spider-Man. Considered a solid version of Tafo's Osborne character, many wonder
if anyone can get to the top in the Oscar nominee's enthusiastic, frantic
performance.
Tom
Holland's third Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man:
No Way Home, is set to bring back many of the three Spider-Universe villains
for another fight. As the latest trailer reveals, Tofo's Coblin Alfred Molina's
Dr. Octopus from Spider-Man 2, Thomas Hayden-Churchin's Sandman from Spider-Man
3, Rice Ifans from The Amazing Spider-Man and Jamie from The Lizard. Along with
the MCU. Fox's Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The highly anticipated
film also features former Spider-Man Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
In the new poster released by Sony Pictures
Japan on Twitter, a brand new look of Duffo's Green Coplin is seen in the
background of the film. Many fans are wondering if the villain's new outfit,
briefly seen in the latest trailer, will appear on Hopcoplin or New Goblin in
Spider-Man 3, but the poster actually confirms that Tofo is upgraded. The
actor's recognizable face, flying in his glider, can also be seen with a
comedic-precision hood; This also seems to have received an update. Check out
the whole new poster below:
After
Radio-Silence, Marketing for Spider-Man: No Way Home is now shot in all
cylinders, with the film still a few weeks out. Earlier this week, the film
tried some viral marketing strategies and introduced the DickTalk account for
The Daily Buck, run by JK. J. Jonah Jameson of Simmons. Sony is releasing
several TV shows for the sequel to the comic book, which will feature small
excerpts from the film's new scenes, including conversations between Holland's
Peter Parker and Molina's Doc Oak.
The new
poster confirms some previous clothing-test leaks, indicating that Osborne will
be removing its hard metal ghost-mask in favor of the enhanced purple hood. In
Electro's Fox version, which changed its blue skin for the comics' original
pale lightning, the familiar villains get the most welcome change to make the
most comic book accurate. Spider-Man: No Way Home fans are excited, and each
new poster or trailer only adds to the ever-increasing hype. Spider-Man fans
are eager to see Tafo's return to the long-awaited Green Goblin movie, and the
actor has the opportunity to further change his outspoken acting style in a new
outfit without a mask.
