The Karate Kid, known as The Kung Fu Dream in China, is a 2010 wuxia combative techniques dramatization movie coordinated by Harald Zwart, and part of The Karate Kid arrangement. It stars Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan in lead jobs, and it was delivered by Jerry Weintraub, James Lassiter, Ken Stovitz and Jaden's folks Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. The plot concerns 12-year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) from Detroit, Michigan who moves to Beijing, China with his mom (Taraji P. Henson) and crosses paths with the local harasser Cheng (Zhenwei Wang). He makes an impossible partner as a maturing janitor, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), a kung fu ace who shows him the mysteries of self-protection. The screenplay by Christopher Murphey was from the story composed by Robert Mark Kamen for the first The Karate Kid. Dissimilar to the first, this redo is set in China, and, notwithstanding the film's deceptive title, highlights Kung Fu rather than Japanese-Okinawan Karate. The film's music was made by James Horner. It's anything but a worldwide co-creation between China, Hong Kong, and the United States.
